CHALLENGE
Employees didn’t want to participate in performance reviews, and without performance reviews it was difficult for management to address problems or reward employees
SOLUTION
Developed a humorous campaign that poked fun at employees’ reluctance to participate in performance reviews, using Walking Dead imagery:
• Produced attention-grabbing digital posters
• Created pop-up banners and ads for the intranet
• Built zombie-sized cutouts with signage
• Email campaign
• Created “I completed (and survived) my performance review” stickers
RESULTS
• Humor allowed for a dramatic increase in performance reviews completed early and on time
