• A significant mismatch between cutting-edge supplement culture and outdated packaging made Barlean’s feel like an old-fashioned “medicine”
• Package design didn’t illustrate or emphasize the delicious flavor
• Old packaging was not attractive to either children or parents
SOLUTION
Reimagined Barlean’s shelf presence:
• Fresh, modern, and integrated design system for packaging across 30+ SKUs
• Created fun, fruity characters and product names to highlight the flavors, giving parents tools for persuading kids to take their healthy oils
• Digital and social ad campaign
• Optimized landing page
RESULTS
• Increased interest and a sharp increase in sales
• The new Omega Pals line won the NEXTY Award for Best New Natural Kid’s Product
